- Our products should be used whenever needed, such as a small slather of Arnica on the lower back at noon when working in the garden. Oils are absorbed fastest when the skin is warm. The ideal time for application of our proudcts is when just out of a shower or bath. This will also encourage the most healing effect.
- Our Calendula products are fantastic for working on issues of the skin. We encourage you to reapply as often as needed. Build up the presense of the botanical on an eczema patch or other skin rash or irritation. When diligent, skin issues can clear up quickly.
- Our Salves are thicker in consistancy than our Whipped Body Butters. A salve, by definition is "an ointment used to promote healing of the skin or as protection." Our Salves have organic beeswax and shea butter to give them a more medicinal application—we want you to work the botanical into the problem areas! The Whipped Body Butters, by comparison, are a bit more viscous and skin just drinks them up.
- While we don't make a "lip-specific" product, our Calendula & Lemon Balm Soothing Salve makes an excellent lip moisturizer—just without the fake flavor!
- Our Calendula and Comfrey Scrubs are salt based, and are OK for use on the face. Our Arnica Scrub is a sugar scrub and the granule is too large for exfoliating the face, but is a real treat on the feet.
- For a restorative hair and scalp treatment, try mixing our Calendula or Comfrey Whipped Body Butters into your favorite conditioner. You will be amazed at how quickly the butters melt right in. Don't overdo it or you will get oiled hair—a little bit can have a wonderful soothing effect.

Yes. Good Body Products sources only 100% organic ingredients for use in every product we create. When possible, we source locally grown ingredients. We strive to purchase all of our ingredients from the USA when possible. In addition, we grow some of our own ingredients and make all of our own infused oils. While we do not bear any official certification of our organic products, we will gladly let you know where we source our ingredients and you can see those supplier's certifications in this regard. We are confident in our 100% organic ingredients and do not use anything that we can't pronounce or don't want to apply to our own bodies.
Are Good Body Products vegan?
No. We say no, because some of our products use beeswax. While this can be a debatable topic for some, most vegans consider the harvest of honey and beeswax from bees to be an exploitation of an animal, and therefore not vegan. We leave it to you to decide, however this is the only animal product we use in Good Body Products, and it is not found in all of our products. You can see a list of our products containing beeswax here.

What is an "antioxidant?"
Oxidation is a process in which a transfer of electrons or hydrogen across cells can create free radicals, which in turn, start "chain reactions," which often cause damage or death of the cell. Oxidation degenerates the health of the skin. ANTI-oxidants stop these chain reactions by eliminating the free radicals, thereby inhibiting the process. Antioxidants are important agents in keeping the skin healthy and free from this damage.
